Windows 10 giving errors on 7th GPU

Hi there,

I've been doing searches and I wasn't able to find any new or old solutions to my problem.
I currently installed 7 MSI Titanium 1070 TI's.  Windows recognizes all 7 gpu's but the 7th gpu keeps showing up as an error 43.  After doing multiple attempts I took off my 7th gpu and booted Windows with 6 gpu's and now the 6th gpu is showing an error.

What i've tried troubleshooting so far:
1.  Swapped Risers - with no change.
2.  Swapping PCIE slots - the error seems to follow the GPU - BUT when I restarted with 6 GPU's the 6th GPU has an error as well so I don't believe the 7th GPU along is the problem.
3.  Swapped Power slots on the PSU (just thought i'd give it a shot)
4.  Disabled the GPU, then Enabled it again multiple attempts.
5.  Re-installed the driver multiple times.
6.  Plugged in HDMI cable directly into the 7th GPU.  The display does work, but I'm still getting the error code and can't mine with the 7th GPU.

I'm still receiving "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" and under Properties > Events I see "Device PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1B82&SUBSYS_C3001462&REV_A1\4&1a5b4e11&0&00E7 requires further installation."


I'm able to mine with 6 cards without an problems.  Also not that I'm unable to load SimpleMining (which I normally use) as it brings up a lot of errors that I'm unable to read since it scrolls so quickly.

Mobo - Asus Z270-A
CPU - G4400
Ram 4GB DDR4
Dual PSU's.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  And sorry if someone did have an answer on the forums and I was unable to find it.  I swear I looked for an answer!

Z270 boards require a few options configured in BIOS for multiple GPUs to work. Are they all set in your case? Above 4g decoding, pci-e speed set to 2.0, all the extra controllers disabled?

Yep!  Unless I did it wrong.  Usually I follow the BBT video he made a few months back.  I'm not sure if there are any other additions to his original Video for the mobo.

are you using latest nvidia drivers from nvidia webpage, version from 28th of January?

Windows takes about 20 minutes to install driver just for ONE card, if you see it under device manager, it doesn`t mean its not installing. Check resource manager via task manager, if you see cpu/hdd activity, it means its still installing.

Update drivers manually via device manager/update driver/browse. Connet one card, boot, install driver, shut down, attach one more, install driver and so on.

Have you got all other latest drivers like intel chipset, SATA etc?
