Hi,

I'd like to move all that block chain data off my profile and onto an external hard drive. Any thoughts?

Thanks,

1. shut down and exit client.
2. Copy the whole folder.
3. Use the -datadir switch or something to point to new location.

That's what I did a few months ago. Works for me.

One you know how to do it is quite easy. I did the same thing. It is not quite drag and drop yet, but obviously important to keep your private keys.
