Well, just like the title suggests, I feel kind of stupid.. I created a wallet at easycoin, which seemed like a basic wallet, so it would suffice for my needs. But this piece of crap OP here, was so dumb to not google the name, before submitting BTC there (luckily it was only one BTC). So I transferred my BTC there, and in a matter of seconds, it was gone I guess this is kind of getting it of my chest, and a warning to other newbies, to look around, before just doing dumb stuff.

Yep, that's where my new wallet's at. But since I'm just a poor lil' student, it is quite a bit of money to lose. Ah well, let's just say that shit happens. Edit: I don't really like to beg, but any donations would be appriciated: 1AGagEtv5DpwzCiPkUkXqUF6HwBmTFEWa2

I would always advise you too use trusted wallets, for example like Blockchain.com or Inputs.io is another popular one. Both Admins are active on the forums and will support you if you need anything.
Yeah, I must say the inputs admins are helpful, I tried creating a wallet there, but I couldn't log in, because of a apostrophe in my town name, and after mailing they (tried) to fix it immedeatly (sorry for spelling fails ). Ah well, time to start over I guess.

Put a second authentification in blockchain.info and don't choose an easy password, some people got hacked there. + don't be keylogged

There are many ways to keep your cryptocurrency safe, there are very few reasons to use an online wallet. Only one that I can think of : when you want to acces your BTC when all you have acces to is an internet browser. But even then I'd much rather keep my coins in an exchange that I trust.

That's right!... I don't understand why it isn't the global default policy/rules for set password yet?

One of the best ways to secure your wallet would have to be on a offline computer. There's many tutorials on showing how to deposit and withdraw and set up these wallets on a offline computer.
