...

To apply email us at support BTC@BTC bitbandit.eu and let us know:
  • ...
  • Picture of you

Wait. Is that how ponzi sites get the pics of their testimonials?

Sorry I think this community made me paranoid.

Still you start your post writing how you do not care about our personal stuff and then want a pic?

Just wondering.

If someone sends a pic... how would you know if that is really the person or just a random picture taken from those picture frames that you buy in the local market Smiley

What could someone do with just a pic?

Basically anything that is possible to do with digital pictures in the internet?

Being as paranoid as I am the first few things that come to mind after just 1 second of thinking about it:

- Using it for false testimonial for some sort of scam
- Hacking it into a site that lists sex offenders in your neighbourhood just for laughs.
- Put your head on Pamela Andersons Body and post the pic on Instagram.

Ok that last one would be an improvement.

But the point is: Handing out your personal data (and pictures of you fall into that category) in digital form to third parties you do not know and trust should be avoided.

Well do you wear a mask at your job?

No. But when I applied for my Job I knew exactly who I dealt with and knew whom to hold liable should something happen with the pic I sent that i did not agree to. Later on I even got the people in HR to know in person. That is a whole different level of trust.

Look I will stop this now. I don't want to take your thread further off rails than I already did. I meant you no harm it just kind of irritates me if anonymous people (and you are quite anonymous since your site is missing a site notice and legal information and the whois just gave a post address that could or could not be yours) ask me to give up part of my anonymity (and disclosing a picture is part of that for me).
