UPDATE: 5 Minutes after posting this the money was confirmed to my account.

I deposited Euro4500 (approx $6000) to BitStamp via European SEPA transfer on Friday 9th August. From past experience this money should have arrived in my account by Tuesday 13th. The money was definitely sent to the correct bank account with the correct reference because they are setup as a regular payee in my online banking.

To cut a long story short, BitStamp said they wanted to verify my ID before they could credit the money, even though I was below their stated daily deposit amounts, so I provided this by Wednesday 14th.

On Thursday 15th they said that my ID was all OK, and the money would be credited on Friday, or at the very latest on Monday.

It wasn't in my BitStamp account by Monday 19th, so on Monday afternoon I sent off proof from my bank (Natwest) that the SEPA transfer had been sent.

We are now on Wednesday 21st and I'm still $6,000 out of pocket?! I've contacted their support several times, talking to different members of staff, but they really don't seem interested in finding the missing money - they've said they will get around to it soon and keep suggesting that it hasn't arrived.

Anyone else had these kind of problems with BitStamp??

Wrong section. I believe the marketplace is for buying/selling only. Use marketplace discussions.

I suspect this is an effort of paid anti-commercial. Just my opinion though...  Wink

Bitstamp is serious, unlike mt.gox, even if it is delayed, you will always get your money Smiley

Please give me an example of someone who "never received his money" using Gox.
