Yet another nube from the UK.

Been mining for 4 weeks now, raspberry-pi / USB miners setup on multiple hubs, a long way removed from the old GPU noise machine I used to dabble with.

Welcome here.
I wish I have mining stuff, or that I mined before.

Thanks for the warm welcome, been checking out and reading this forum for a while (I am a part of the Slush'i pool), but I would like to post here also.

Just wish I put more effort into Bitcoins etc when I first came across them (a while ago when they were around £10 each), not to worry I am here now and have 4BTC all of my own (my precious) lol

I hope that you have a secure wallet and won't get hacked like every other newbies out there Tongue

Thanks for your concern Marcovaldo, I am using the BlockChain APP with Google Authenticator, split my wallet into several pieces, one which is used to receive payment from the pool and the others which I have never used to buy (send) from.

Is this enough to ensure the safety of my precious Bits ?

Thanks again for the warm welcome and encouragement.

I thought a forum where the goal is to "mine" create money would be less welcoming, but I was wrong :-)

You're welcome! Not only is it 'creating' 'money', but it is also securing the Bitcoin network.

Well this is another newbie from the states! I do have a questions:
Is anyone having the issue where the ASIC Bitcoin mining hardware starts and the speed is shown per individual miner but the combined speed gauge is at zero? Mine is doing that with the v 1.4.1, any thoughts??
