A reddit user with the user name OSCARKORN who claims to be a customer and trading cryptocurrency on kraken platform, a cryptocurrency exchange based in Europe recently posted in bitcoin subreddit claiming that his $5000 he deposited with the exchange have not been credited in his account for the past two week with no response from the exchnage.

I am having a similar issue.

My funds were sent on December 15th. I received confirmation from support on 21st December that my funds were received.

It is the 4th January now and I still waiting for those funds to appear in my account.

Support has not replied to a ticket since 21st December. Kraken is by far the worst of the exchanges I have used.

I have exactly the same issue, the deposit i have made can be seen on funding page and marked as success. however, it is not seen in account balance. i have opened a ticket (#1412767), escalated the issue and now who knows when I am going to get an answer? think about it, just a simple SEPA transfer, successfully transferred but it is missing in kraken's system. in order to get your money, you need to spend effort and wait for somebody for an undetermined time to pick up your ticket. depositing money should be this difficult, right? this is literally a shame...

Hi coin baba. This is actually a different issue. Your funds are not lost. We're currently experiencing a backlog in transactions being available on the Trade tab once they're successfully deposited and you can see them on the Funding tab. Our developers are aware of this issue and are working towards a solution. Thank you for your patience.

Hi

I have been in this situation for 3 MONTHS now.

On the 13th October I sent 5'000 euros to KRAKEN on their FIDOR account, I am still waiting for the money to be credited or actually reimbursed !!! The transfer was done from a swiss bank (UBS) to a german bank (FIDOR) with a SEPA transfer. I have given them all proofs of transfer available on earth (SWIFT, SEPA proof, references used, name, IBAN...) and they are still telling me that they did not receive the money !!!! They are "investigating" with their bank FIDOR but tell me that they have no news from them...

I see 2 options: 1. They dont give a flying fuck about my problem and are not even looking into it 2. They dont give a flying fuck about my problem and are so useless that they cant trace the money and deal with their bank

On my side I have requested to my bank for the transfer to be cancelled but they need KRAKEN's bank authorisation to get the money back. They have no news from the bank FIDOR as well.

Give them your money at your own risk.

I am currently seeing lawyers and consumers association but if you have any advice on how I could get them to move their ass and pay me back, I would be happy to hear it.

@Kraken thank you but I have already done this and it did not change anything. I just did it again...
You think that by posting this on forums you will appear efficient and responsive to other readers, guys don't be fooled.

I have been talking by email with you guys for over 3 MONTHS !! if you were efficient my problem which is pretty simple would be solved and I would not need to post on forums to get my money back.

You tell me that you do not have my money in your system, I am telling you it is on your bank account, I have all the banking documentation to prove it and you have it as well.
You tell me that you don't have an answer from your bank, I am telling you get your shit together, I am able to get my bank on the phone or by email to answer my questions, no doubt you should be able to do the same especially with the amount of business you are bringing them.

Trust me if you had sent 5000 euros to some trading platform and they just told you "sorry buddy we dont have it" you would go insane pretty quickly. I hope the kraken guy who reads this will understand my anger and act quickly to solve this.

I've made the 3 support tickets, one support ticket escalation but no answer. I have another friend within the same situation! and is getting frustrating.
