Now a part of the ICO project requirement KYC verification, so I want to, I will not participate in the bounty threads and Airdrop if they need kyc, because for a little bit of bounty sells my KYC information not worth it.

This is a good point and privacy and anonymity are very important, but not everyone feels that way since most people joined the crypto world to only make a quick buck here and there and wouldn't care about privacy or anonymity. I suggest everyone to only fill out the KYC forms of the bounties and airdrops which seem completely legit in every aspect(Do your research to find out) which could potentially save you from losing any money(If you are investing). For example, the current Shipchain token airdrop seems legit based on my research which is why I will be filling up their KYC form.

I try not to participate in any airdrops as they have became scams and not worth the time anymore. How do people still believe in this kind of foolishness especially if they asking something from you airdrops are meant to be given w/out any requirements?

yes this is why i made this thread . they are giving money but you dont know what will happen if they leak or even sell your identity on somewhere else like deepweb or what. or they might use our identity on online without any notice

If you are doubtful with an ICO or airdrops that asking for KYC verification do not participate because our privacy is the most imporatant reason why we are using cryptocurrencies,i dont participate with these ICOs requiring IDs because our id might be used to identity theft which is unacceptable!

And very unreasonable a bounty asks for our privacy data. Because of all this I do not think it is necessary when we work as well as their need to pay for campaign participants

I'm not joining any airdrop but AFAIK it's the new rules about KYC. And if you don't want to send any information to them then just don't any of them at all, this is a very simple thing. Before exchanges are the only ones to implement KYC but now it seems that ICO's are the next one to rule this thing out. But also your concern should be taken seriously as you are worrying about those scam projects and many of our community members are becoming a victim of it and at the same time they also providing their info.

yes, I agree with your exposure. there are many people who do not care about KYC verification. it all depends on the individual itself, and airdrop is not a way to gain multiple benefits. if the OP wants to be legit, the OP should have a knowledge base and insight until the OP knows which to choose and which is the most likely.

Do not participate these airdrops and ICOs that will require your id,or KYC verification because your ID might be compromised, worst identity thefts you will be facing,ICOs should be decentralized !

So it is worth it if they sell your information and you bought a lot of tokens during the ICO?  I have been avoiding all KYC's verifications except the ones from major exchanges (Binance, Bittrex, Poloniex) to increase my daily limits.

Yes you are right most ICO ask for KYC but its good for us because as you give your KYC its been confirms that you are the real person who filled the form and registered in that project. And for this KYC process many fraud cases avoided. And for bounty as I seen and working no bounty project asked for KYC because the bounty hunters direct promote that project in social media sites, so no need for KYC for bounty workers. And still id you feel any project wrongly asking KYC you should ask the developers about this.

Airdrops and Bounty should have KYC verifications only ICOs are doing these verification to prevent abusive people joining multiple times.Privacy is our main concern that is why we use cryptocurrencies to protect our identity online.

I think that the KYC process for bounty hunters is not the right procedure. The thing is, I'm afraid of where the data sent by people is sent and why they need our data and what they will do with people afterwards.

bounties and airdrops need KYC? what for? that you are real person? don't participate these kind of airdrops and the bounties what if they are scammers and use your identity to scam people. Airdrops are free and the bounties work for tokens so join other airdrops and bounties that's no need KYC.

Yeah, I also think its just a scam. Why the heck they would ask for that kind of verification, they just need promoters. And if a Airdrop/bounty asks for it, It would be shady and shouldn't be trusted. AML and KYC are meant for investors so ICO knows they're not using illegal money.
