what if the world now will turn to eth?

What will happen if all of the investors around the world will sell their current holdings and transfer their funds and invest in ether? Is it possible to happen? i am thinking that if it happens then probably there would be a drastic change on altcoins as well since most of the tokens or altcoins are supported by eth platform. I do not know if this is possible since eth is also an altcoin to bitcoin. We have known bitcoin very well that is why ethe has emerged on it and if bitcoin falls down so does its altcoin. But somehow i am thinking this idea before since eth has a lot of things to prove. What could really happen with crypto if eth will be gaining so much attention?
