I am not sure about the statement and believe that Bill Gates is not right in this term. Though he agreed and took bitcoin positively. But after the massive price fall he changed his mind. But I believe he will understand the real scenario and change his mind again in favor of bitcoin.

You have the same post, someone already has done this and it should be removed, though I like you pushing through this topic, but please do check if someone already has posted the same topic, if you are just trying to boost your post count this is a bad way or a lazy way to do it, and please make further research about your topic it is too much one-sided.

Bill Gates, Microsoft founder comments about bitcoin on May 7th. He said that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are “kind of a pure greater fool theory type of investment”.

Bill Gates is right. Large investors are accustomed to the classic currencies for investment. We are accustomed to the fact that the currency always reacts to the news, and does not behave unpredictably.

Bill Gates is not the first tycoon to hurl abuse at criptocurrencies. But it seems to me that everyone changes their minds later. I read today that Goldman Sachs will soon open the first trading desk for cryptocurrencies; unthinkable until a few months ago.

I think that people of such level and such financial turnover can say one thing and do another. Do not take words seriously.

I would not be surprised if bill gates himself trades or invests in cryptocurrencies. This is more likely in reality. Because everyone understands that cryptocurrencies can increase their financial condition by tens or hundreds of times.

Bill Gates is genius people, he can easily take a benefit from what he is saying. He is the influencer for computer and technology area, even perhaps some people will not believe him in kind of business as there are other top business man who are more capable to talk investment. But at least what Bill Gates saying will influence the crypto space with his own benefit and intention. We don't know exactly what is his intention.

I always thought that Microsoft Windows and Office were a fools type of investment, but still.... we kinda all use them despite all children flaws they haven't got ridden of over the course of 20 years.....
We have no choice though there are some open source type but we are confident and used to use it.
Let Bill Gates call bitcoin the way he wants but it has been proven that bitcoin isn't the way they are talking right now.
I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back and says bitcoin is the best investment that each millennial would get.

Exactly, I use them only because almost everybody else is using them... and I also got used to them.
Bill Gates is not an expert on the Bitcoin issue, so his opinion is just that - an opinion.
I was a little bit sarcastic with my comment Smiley

Impossible bitcoin are not crazier who think like this they are crazy because they wants to rule alone but it has bright future and it’s a developing sector in the world many of them are doing business and trading goods with this & there is nothing about speculative things everything is clear

Bill Gates’ opinion on bitcoin is as volatile as the crypocurrency market. Just take the favorable ones. It’s not like the negative ones affected or will have an effect.  Wink

I agree with his point of view. Because the Crypto market is considered anonymous in every transaction. In addition, companies never submit annual reports on their expenditures and profits. So where do we rely on long-term investment? We have absolutely no reason to invest.
We can trade every day to earn a small amount. That would be a good strategy.

these days is like the birthday that never ends for the FUDsters who love bashing bitcoin while bag holding their shitcoins. the funny thing is for all of them they are losing a lot more money on their altcoins than they could have on bitcoin and when the recoveries happen bitcoin will shoot up to the moon not their shitcoins.

in any case I find it strange that Bill Gates had a 180 degree change of opinion about bitcoin. there must be something going on in Microsoft, possibly an altcoin they want to create? or does it go deeper?

I don't think that is their point as if Bill Gates is creating their own cryptocurrency he will be eating their own words and he will really have a good explanation on why his cryptocurrency have value and Bitcoin is not. For Bill Gates seeing Bitcoin has no value is just a normal view for any old billionaires out there they are not open to this kinds of investment opportunities as they are totally risky investments compared to what they are used to.

That's his opinion on the matter and nobody can blame him for him taking this stance against Bitcoins especially since he doesn't have a damn clue about the whole cryptocurrency market.
