First of all, you should move this question to Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Economics > Speculation section. You can do that in menu at the bottom of page. About your question - Now everyone look on support on $7k, if will be broken, even $4k is very possible. |

IMO anyone who thinks it won’t fall significantly below $5,000 is being irrationally optimistic, and doesn’t fully understand bitcoin as an investment and its inherent problems and risks. |

IMO anyone who thinks it won’t fall significantly below $5,000 is being irrationally optimistic, and doesn’t fully understand bitcoin as an investment and its inherent problems and risks. Why do not explain it then? You did not do much with saying how everyone here is stupid cause we do not fully understand Bitcoin. If you know something more then you said now, share it with us. I would like to know and understand Bitcoin as investment. Tell us which problems and risks Bitcoin have? If you do not do that, you are just a spammer that speads FUD. What else you can do here if not that. |

I think with the current downward movement we did not expect anything different and it is very possible for bitcoin to go below $5,000 by the weekend. As at this morning there was a drop to $7,800 before see a little recovery during newYork trading section. The bull is very weak now and go back to $10,000 is harder than fall back to $5,000. |

It is really funny. I remember there were many posts on forum 2 months ago about price to 40k, 100k and even 1m.
Now we see many posts about price fall to 8k, 6k and 5k.

Nah! We have always seen people who have been highly bearish on bitcoin when it was busy doing its bull run, and so many people were even wishing it would get as low as $3k. To the OP though, anything is possible, but we really hope the the bounce back from the $7700 region holds and what I am looking forward to now is a double bounce. No one can say for now though, so we just wait and see. I am already fully back in and hoping we do not go down lower. |

Don't have a magic ball for you but if I had to take a stab at it I would say about 20% chance that happens. I think it most likely won't but there are some individuals here convinced this will occur, that is why I fear give it 20%  . |

Those predictions are not mutually exclusive, of course - we're just taking the scenic route. 
Don't have a magic ball for you but if I had to take a stab at it I would say about 20% chance that happens. I think it most likely won't but there are some individuals here convinced this will occur, that is why I fear give it 20% . There are individuals here convinced of all sorts of things: that bitcoin will go to zero and / or is a distraction to avoid the masses buying up all the silver; that reptilian aliens control our governments; that climate change is a Chinese conspiracy; and so on... you probably don't want to waste your probabilities with most of them (unless they can back it up).  |

I hope this prediction is inaccurate, and will never happen during 2018. but we really hope the the bounce back from the $7700 region holds
As you say $ 7700, this is appropriate at a price which i had been predicted previously. For me $ 7700 is the optimal price, but before reaching $ 7700, i personally really hope, the level of awareness of bitcoin users 'appear' to maintain it. |

There is a chance but I don't know on how many percent its start to be seen at that rate. In cryptocurrency everything can happen, everything can change for a short period of time. Before the year of 2017 the price was kicking and good nearly at $20,000 and by the first two weeks of January we started to see the market drastically quick not with pump but with dump. There's a little hope when it went down to $9,800 and it started to be up again to be near in $12,000 but this is crypto, its at $8,770 now and bitcoin at $5,000 or less can't be ignored. |

That can only be speculation otherwise i do not see any reason that will brig bitcoin to such a low price, i think that bitcoin price will not drop below 8000$ and from here it will get some good accelerator which will drew the price again to a very good position, therefore i think we should try to hold our bitcoin and should not get panic because more chances are the market will recover very soon. |

If you wanna talk in numbers then no. According to this graph, this is probably the best time to buy.  It will be bear till 7k, after that I am expecting a bull.There are lots of buyers in the market, and they will consider this as a great opportunity. Hitting 5k is as difficult as reaching 15k$.If by any chance bitcoin reaches 5k, then the market is going to get very ugly.Panic selling can consume the entire crypto space! Tl;dr if you have bitcoins, then hodl and let the crowd sell.After all, everyone's not a winner |

In the past the market can be predicted to some extent. This time everything has gone out of hands and truly hard to predict the price moves. With this in mind anything could happen, because the price started to recover yesterday and soon after that once again it has started to fall low.

More than possible. It's not as if that price is all that far away any more. That would be 75% down on the ATH which is considerably better than other bubble pops. If it holds that I'd say that weren't bad at all. Let's get there first and see if it's in the mood for it.

haha, i also remember that time when alot of people here in forum, predicting the potential valued of bitcoin when the price reach the all time high value. And unfortunately nowadays there are predicting what is the bottom of bitcoin price. Lol |
