The Twitter account @Bitcoin has mental problems?

Do you know who this account belong?
I remember this account was inactive for a long time and suddenly is active again, since some days.
Half of the tweets posted are about Bitcoin cash and the account retweet news/services related to Bitcoin cash.

What's going on?

it is not active again, it is super ultra active!
i remember the first day i read about this account becoming active and advertising bitcoin cash, (which was by the time it tweeted something about being the real owner and being busy) i tried figuring out how long ago was the last tweet before the BCH advertisements start but i could not get to the bottom of it and i got tired only checking a couple of days days worth of tweets!

my guess is that Roger gave the owner some offer he could not refuse when he bought his account

Noticed it recently myself and since Bitcoin had no official Twitter account for announcements other than the Bitcoin Core itself from back then, this @Bitcoin account was most likely traded somewhere within the black market for a huge sum. Also, it looks the buyer was closely related to the Bitcoin Cash team in some way as most of the tweets being made are promoting BCH and the rest are rubbish spam.

So nobody knows something about this account? 
I have been told (a rumor) by someone promoting Bitcoin cash that Blockstream team Adam Back and someone who I only know his pseudo are behind this account.

Due to the inactivity and the premium that comes with having a tag like @Bitcoin it was likely sold was a decent price. Seems like it's probably someone heavily invested in Bitcoin cash. The Bitcoin community over at reddit has been poking fun too and they've also asked the question who owns it. Nobody knows and it's likely not going to come out who owns it either.

It's a shame that the account has been taken over using the Bitcoin name and traffic that the twitter account would have to promote a project like Bitcoin Cash...

Exactly my opinion about using the Bitcoin name. And he loooves to say Bitcoin cash is the real Bitcoin now, he repeats this multiple times per day to people. When he starts to tweet about Bitcoin cash, people are trolling like hell.
I was wondering if anyone here knows him, could have been a member here. I will take a look at Reddit to see what people say

I did some looking around and it seems the consensus is that it was sold, but no one knows who bought it and who was the owner before it was sold. It'll probably come out eventually. It's a real shame that the account will now be abused to spread misinformation and big up Bitcoin Cash.

Could potentially have been hacked too due to the inactivity.

I'm equally surprised that this guy is calling bitcoin cash as original bitcoin, when bitcoin cash only became a reality thanks to bitcoin. Then again what can you expect a shit coin follower to say also. You may be right he probably has to be between rank of being new or max member, such kind of comments normally come from them only. Let us know what you find.
