To register EOS, one needs EOS keys from nadejde.github.io

I am not sure if the keys can be generated from eos.io.

My question is if we generate the keys from nadejde.github.io, how safe is it?

What are the chances of a repeat of IOTA-like hack?

This is why I got out of EOS.  I'll come back when they have a mainnet and you can buy the coin straight away.

I'm sure the EOS people are smart and trustworthy and know what they are doing, but too much can go wrong when you are exposing private keys.
