I think hype is the right answer, such news causes prices to increase without a reason. Unfortunately this end up with such crash. In both crash and hype, losers are same 

Pump and dump strategie. But I don't think that would work good enough after the market felt in a long dip cus of that speculants.

There are A LOT of FUD articles nowadays. I was wondering if there are any opposite articles - encouraging people to buy, buy, buy!

Though I guess they're really unusual.

I think the opposite of FUD is hardfork.
when there's an announcement about hardfork, bitcoin or a certain coin might become in demand and its price will pump.
