Brace yourselves, and stay calm.. dont panic. Smiley
Believe in the technology and not be purturbed by the volatile market atm.

UPDATE:
Just found a like discussion what I was saying..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PKyDd1wSIA

Quote
The U.S Senate met on February 6th to discuss "virtual currencies" such as Bitcoin. Many interpreted this meeting as bullish for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, primarily off the back of CFTC Chair Giancarlo's testimony and the idea of a "thoughtful regulatory approach."

Steemit Post: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?v=6PKyDd1wSIA&event=video_description&redir_token=aPMEusKZLQmF5G07HdhlZy3vhud8MTUxODUyODI2NEAxNTE4NDQxODY0&q=https%3A%2F%2Fsteemit.com%2Fcryptocurrency%2F%40cryptovestor%2Fwhy-u-s-restrictions-on-icos-and-exchanges-is-likely

While many caught onto the theme that ICOs were not liked by anyone, I think many didn't logically take it to the next step. If all ICOs are securities, aren't many altcoins as well? And if they are, what becomes of exchanges that enable the trading of these altcoins? It was mentioned many times at the hearing that exchanges weren't adequately regulated due to state-specific legislation and the idea that money transmitter licenses weren't designed for such secondary market trading.

There were other red flags as well, such as the idea of escalating Bitcoin to FSOC as a systemic risk or that the principle idea behind Bitcoin is to replace the U.S dollar which is NOT how we want regulators to view Bitcoin as they will see it as a much bigger threat.

Another important detail that many seemed to ignore was that the focus of the meeting seemed to be on how blockchain was valuable, but cryptocurrencies weren't. The only people who seemed to argue against this idea was CFTC Chair Giancarlo and Senator Warren.

Instead, the focus was on how blockchain technology could help regulators do their jobs through increased transparency of data. This usually is a fancy way of saying "more power to government and less privacy." It begins with good intentions, but that's usually what it devolves to.

All in all, there were many details most chose to ignore from the hearing that I wish were discussed more. There were obviously some bullish elements to it as well, but they have been discussed to death in media and hence I've chosen not to cover them. I hope that we do see a "thoughtful regulatory approach," but it appears a bumpy road ahead is likely.

Bitcoin: Buy The Dip? - 2 Out Of 3 Crypto Crashes Like The Current One Ended Up Being A Multi-Year Bear Market

Giesbers Investment StrategyFeb.11.18
Prices of cryptocurrencies seem to recover after a huge sell-off.

But if Bitcoin price history proves anything, it is that this price slump might be far from over.

Governments cracking down on cryptocurrency, exchanges having problems, the problems for Bitcoin seem to be a never ending story but seemed unable to stop its price development in the past.

The quickly eroding dominance of Bitcoin is one of its biggest risks.

If you insist on buying the dip, go ahead, but not do so before reading this article.

that anyone considering 2 in 3 an historical series is either a moron or a liar with an agenda.

Let's just all accept that we have nothing solid on which to base an honest prediction for the future of bitcoin with ANY degree of certainty.

No matter what, the statement of staying calm regardless of FUDs still hold true. If you are not a day-trading speculator aka gambler, and believe in cryptos, then HODL if the price dips again, and dont panic sell — regardless if you agree with these FUDs news.

I can’t find that news article from earlier about the coming regulations on ICOs and Exchanges in the US atm, not easy for me to do so on my phone, hence it wasnt posted. But look it up. But in the longer term, once all the dust have settled, I am confident that BTC will be shooting up.

There are quite a few more prominent FUDs that I am seeing being circulated around atm in the mainstream news.

People here needs to stop being so aggreviated by any bad news. When it dip it is also good news too, i.e. buying opportunities. If it increase, then that is good news too. No reason to get so emotional if one believes in the long term prospect of cryptos imo.

This really is the only thing that I think is truthful here, no one knows what the fuck is going on here in Crypto. There is so many people here with differing agendas, and differing control and they're all vying for power here in Crypto. People are here for power and for money -- that's how that goes here, and in all traditional markets.

Not surprised honestly, FUD is going to plague any emerging market.

Cryptos are up and they will be down again.
There is a wave of bank instigated crackdowns on payments from credit cards to buy crypto ongoing which is creating fud.
There will be more fud, there always is.
The believers and long term visionaries will be hodling.

Just updated my OP with the link detailing what I was talking about earlier; when I was out and w/o my PC to properly post it.

The dust have not settled yet until the regulatory body in the US and other countries have actually acted and made their move for real.

First of all  your post is updated because when I replied yesterday this article didn't exist on the post , secondly I am not angry man and I am not here to express my feelings or emotions , but I am just tired of those people like you sharing only FUD , this forum was made with the purpose of getting people more involved with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and we are here trying to get more people into our community , but with this behavior and this kind of posts you are creating only an atmosphere of panic and pushing people to run away from bitcoin . If you have something for improving the community you are very welcome . If you have a bad news just keep it to yourself , we have the media who's doing the job already attacking bitcoin .
