Dear all.

I am currently mining on a custom built GPU mining rig in Kuwait. The specs are 96 NVidia 1050 Ti's. The whole setup consists of 12 separate units, each equipped with 8 GPU's. Note that I am not selling just cards, but the entire working rig. You just need to drive it home, plug it in and you are good to go. As I said the rig is currently hosted in Kuwait so anyone in the Gulf region is able to pick up the machine and take it home.

I am in the process of replacing this rig with a more powerful miner.

The rig is currently mining on nicehash.com. I have attached a link so that you can verify the profitability for yourself.
https://www.nicehash.com/miner/1J7F1ZrnrcuFc8yvHP6PYV4u83hzCKwcYu

Note that I am also willing to sell individual units of the rig if a buyer doesn't want to purchase the entire setup.

No asking price as such, but I am willing to entertain offers.

Assuming a buyer is found, I would like to have the payment made in person either cash or bank transfer.

Many thanks!

For those who missed his last thread, he was looking for $96,000 for the setup.

It appears to be $45,000 from his previous communication.
To OP - would be good to have a few pics and more specifics on the setup (if they are similar), rather than having it done through PM.

As stated there is no set asking price. I've no idea where the $96,000 figure comes from. The $45,000 figure was from a private message, it's not an asking price. Otherwise I would have mentioned it.

So what? You denounce it?

This subforum is getting worse on a daily basis, I know, yet it's  too much, asking 3 times the price of a brand new setup for a used one.

What asking price?

If you don't want to buy it, why are you posting on this thread? It's got nothing to do with you.

Like I suggested, please edit your first post to put some specs of the rig and if convenient, some pictures as well. It would help you.

It is what we do in a forum we discuss. Selling stuff here is not like putting an ad on a billboard. Newcomers have a right to be aware of scams and other types of threats (like what you do: overpricing attempt).

By the way, you avoid announcing your asking price, why? You prefer fishing in private? Wink

Like I said before, there is no asking price. Furthermore, what is an "overpricing scam"? Oh no! I mean't to pay $X but accidentally paid $Y. I hate it when that happens.

Well, you won't sell this unless you start being more transparent and consistent with your statements here. Specs or this is going nowhere.

As for $45k/96k rigs, are they 24 carat solid gold?

If you will entertain a bank transfer, you must engage a forum escrow to protect not just you but the buyer too. There will be no sending of money to you first, even if you were the Emir of Kuwait.

You know, looking at the prices of second hand 1050 Ti's online, it makes more sense for me to just hold on to the rig and 'run it into the ground' as it where.

I don't why you are so keen to hijack the thread anyway. What has it got to do with you?

I like to shit on shitty sales threads. Or I get off on making people angry. Or I have nothing better to do. Or I'm at work and bored waiting on code to compile. Take your pick.

I think you are going to have your rigs for along time based on the prior thread price discussion.

Alternately, I could could just sit on the rig for 9 months and make that $16k myself and still have the rig, and that's not taking any bitcoin appreciation into account. It seems the prices of GPU's have fallen though the floor since last summer.

I guess the price you previously quoted in the last thread just doesn't seem realistic for a bunch of 1050 TI's.

You aren't going to get what you paid for them probably unless you find some local buyer who wants to take it over.  Shipping them seems unrealistic.
