Hi altcoin community,

I'm a student at Portland State University working on my master’s degree in technology management.  I am working on a paper where I'm trying to determine a simple model for evaluating altcoins and I need expert opinions to weigh in on the model.  If you feel like you know something about buying altcoins I'd love to have your opinion, it should only take you 5-10 minutes.

With some personal experience, literature review, and the opinions of other experts I’ve come up with a simple model that needs verification which is based on the Hierarchical Decision Making (HDM) methodology.  This model has 3 levels. The first one is the problem statement itself. The second is the top level decision criteria and the third is the sub-criteria.
The end goal of this model and this work is to come up with a framework to rank altcoins in order of investment preference.

Your mission, if you accept it, is to weigh this model using pairwise comparison. Please follow these instructions:

1. Use this link: http://research1.etm.pdx.edu/hdm2/Expert.aspx?ID=70936d15cd42e2b1/293458f8dd8e09a6

2. Enter Name and Submit. The model and some instructions will appear.

3. Click on the top node of the model "Criteria".

4. You will now weigh which of the 5 perspectives has the most impact on the issue.

As an example, if Innovation Potential is more important than the experience of the development team for an altcoin, use the slider or enter text to show which has more weight.

5. When finished, click on "Save and Go to the next Node"

6. Now you are at the 3rd level of the model. You will now weigh which criterion has the most impact on the issue exclusively certain perspective.  Rank each node and click "Save and go to the next node"

7. When done you'll have the model with all the nodes colored in blue. Just click on "Submit" and you're done.

I know the tool is a bit wonky and I am sorry for that but I greatly appreciate any feedback you have.

Thanks!

-Chris
