Ive been trying to mine Zcash but everytime I use this miner, nanopool, Flypool, supernova, it crashes. If I use nicehash, no problems. Runs for weeks. Is there something Im not doing, that I should be? I have 5 EVGA 1080, 1 MSI Armour 1070ti and one EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3. ASrock H110 Pro + BTC , 1200 Thermaltake PSU and an 850 EVGA Supernova PSU.

what just shuts off? the whole system? Thats a PSU issue.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Try to re-download the miner from official site/thread, also make sure your PC have internet available. If miners don't have internet they close instantly on start up.

Whole system. How could it be a PSU issue when other miners work fine?

I have constant internet. I don't believe that the issue. It's just this miner.

What if you have sleep mode enable? Smiley Or your HDD goes to sleep? Buy a watt-metter and check your power consumption from the wall.. If computer just shut's off, then this could be psu issue..

I have a watt meter. Sleep mode isn't enabled. If it was a PSU issue, why does nicehash run fine?

So in the windows event logs, I am getting an error with nvlddmkm. Some of them say "nvlddmkm has stopped working but recovered", others say "The description for Event ID 13 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\UVMLiteProcess1125
Graphics Exception: ESR 0x51c648=0x108000f 0x51c650=0x0 0x51c644=0xd3eff2 0x51c64c=0x17f

the message resource is present but the message is not found in the string/message table"

So what does the watt metter say?
Are you testing the same algorithm through the nicehash?

Ps. U got the latest drivers?

Power consumption seems normal since the first time a month ago. I have the latest 390 drivers.

Are u measuring the consumption from the PSU which has more load on it? IF no, do it.

So you are saying, that the Rig is mining zcash through the nicehash? Maybe the nicehash is not using EWBF miner, and it's not putting so much "stress" to your GPUs.

No, Im running Zcash and then if switch over to nicehash, and let it mine whatever it chooses, its fine. On the 1200 PSU, I have 4 1080's connected, 4 risers and the motherboard. The 850 PSU, I have 1 1080, 1080 ti and one 1070 ti and three risers.
