DOW +400 during Syria crisis

I do not need to write about Syria when Donald Trump has cancelled his trip to Latin America.

Today DOW Jones is up +400 points.

Is there any logical trading (buying & selling) going on in stock markets or DOW Jones just keeps running to reach 30,000 or 40,000 ?

Syria and middle east situation does not look good. Why stock markets have gone up some +1000 points this week ?
