I been participating in airdrop from quite long . I found some tricks to get profit from airdrop
1) Create etherdelta account register this account for airdrop
2) Dont wait for listed in coinmarketcap or etherdelta drag and drop listing
3) Find contract address etherscan
4) Replace contract address in URL  https://etherdelta.com/#contractaddress-ETH
You will Find buyer for sure .Soon sell it
Creating account in etherdelta you can reduce transaction fees from sending your wallet to etherdelta. Also it will reduce the risk of providing private key in etherdelta account.

So the trick you want to share is to check if the etherdelta exchange has some buy order, and then you're going to start to join airdrop?
But I personally feel that most of the time these airdrop tokens are even cheaper than my fees.

So only if airdrop coin directly land to etherdelta account you can reduce the transaction fees so you may get some profit while selling . Not huge   also you can cutoff the loss . If it is really low value.
