Bitcoin introduced the world to blockchain 1.0 in 2009 with a new transaction ledger. In 2013, Ethereum gave us smart contracts and is often referred to as blockchain 2.0. Fast forward to 2017 when projects such as EOS, DFINITY, and Cosmos emerged, featuring high performance, advanced governance, better consensus, cross chain solutions among other things, which has lead to them being labeled the third generation of blockchain technology.

However, there is another upcoming project which can revolutionize the blockchain and deliver even more advancements and impact the industry like never before. The project is Seele, and many people believe it is blockchain 4.0. Whatever Bitcoin and Ethereum can do, Seele can do as well. It focuses on scalability, flexibility and usability, and incorporating real world industrial applications. It has an economic system that can be used for governance, healthcare, IoT, games, social applications, fintech, and more.

Seele is powered by an up-scalable neural consensus protocol for high throughput concurrency among large scale heterogeneous nodes and is able to form a unique heterogeneous forest multi-chain ecosystem.

Yes, please move this to discussion. But on the topic of so-called Blockchains 4.0.

I find it extremely funny to see EOS listed as "third generation". I've seen non-blockchain projects (usually DAG coins, using mesh network instead of blockchain) that are more qualified to be the "third generation" and even Skycoin project with a completely new consensus algorithm.

To soon to talk about 4th generation when even the second and third aren't truly mature enough.

Looks like a massive work in progress project coming in with the idea to revolutionise blockchain usage and scalability and it just looks highly promising just by the outlines. Will be going through all their progress and let us hope they deliver what they have planned as the whole idea seems to have a lot of potential in itself.

Whooh that is great information mate. We need to upgrade the blockchain all the time to increase the level of encryption mate. If the blockchain 4.0 comes to market I do not know what are effects will be happen in the market.
But I know that effects will be in positive mode not a negative one.
When the segwit 2x launching time itself, they have mentioned 11x encryption will be given to us and then they assure that to give faster transaction in blockchain medium by adding it on the blocks.
