So I commented on a few threads and when I clicked on "Show new replies to your posts" it took me to the first page of a thread that has 50 pages...how in the world would I know which page my comment is on??? Clicking from messages yield the same or similar result!

i thought the "new replies to your posts" were just threads where someone has made a comment, not necessarily to your post.

It'll be easier to just find them though your posts in your profile. Or instead of clicking on the first page, click on the last and work yourself back.

You can go into the thread and use the search function to find your name. That way it's a little easier to find out who replied and what.

Indeed this is a great solution that I will be giving a try in the future.  Gotten tired of having to go threw the posts history and I'm sure I'm not the only one who uses the dates to locate posts.
