My apologies if this is in the wrong place  Smiley

I'm based in the US and starting a fund to invest in alternative coins and ICO's. I'm currently working for a large hedge fund, and understand the process to start a typical fund. I'm trying to understand how I would start a fund in the crypto space legally.

Here is my goal:

- Create a token
- Investors invest in that token
- We use money to invest in ICO's and alt coins

It would be identical to this: https://www.taas.fund/

Can i do this in the US? Or do i need to handle this like a typical ICO?

OR

Should I just set set up an LLC, accept investor money like a typcial fund, and just move it to my virtual wallet? My assumption is that's easier, but I don't know how SEC regulations work....

Thanks for any help!

I am in the same boat although i understand that you have to set it up like a regular fund create a LP and management agreement and LP agreement for the fund and offering memorandum.
