Thanks for the informative article.

Yes, it does look like this is the reason Blackberry has been in such sharp decline recently. Very sad.

When is their going to be an Opensource option? I know of Silent Circle, don't know if it's opensource though.

They did for the UK riots of 2011 as I can recall as some of the info they gave away led to some arrests (afaik).Surely there are other examples of when they gave info to police?
