Write posts that others will deem useful, and they will award you merit.

Also, avoid starting new threads about topics that are already being discussed. There's already a zillion merit related topics in which your question has been answered.

I believe that to gain merit, you have to make constructive post all the time and be active on the furum. You can get merit from furum members who love to share base on their free will donations or charity. Some also want to share their merit if any can post on certain topics constructively.
