Litecoind Build Errors - Any ideas?

I'm trying to build the litecoin daemon, but I keep getting this error: make: *** [obj/key.o] Error 1

I installed all the prerequisites and followed a guide.

I'm running CentOS 6. Any ideas?

Try creating obj/ off the directory you're compiling from.
