Experience Buying Baikal

I'm looking to purchase some Baikal Miners.

I saw a post on these forums with a link to their official Skype. So, I reached out to that Skype address - here's the conversation:



What are your thoughts on this? Sure seems like a scam to me - We're talking about 4 units - that's over $20,000 USD.

I'm afraid I can not put forward any suggestions, I only used ant miner.

Be prepared for your wire to be stopped by the feds and you will be asked to provide lots of documentation on who you are sending the funds to.

I guess there is a russian arms dealer with the middle name baikal and it raises a red flag with the feds.

My funds were released in 2-3 days both times.

I love my Baikals.

What kind of information did you need to provide?

I'm pretty concerned that I'll do this transfer and never see my money again. It seemed odd that they asked me to provide my passport.
