So he's been mining for 2 weeks for FREE of my miner and it's COST me/i've paid for him to have BTC !!

Reason for return - 'Machine is Loud and Noisy' !!!!

It was a private sale, so you're not obligated to accept any returns.

point ebay to the S9 specs at Bitmain, if the unit is operating as designed then its the buyers fault for not doing his homework before purchasing.

If the unit is not faulty and he just wishes to return it, allow him but he must cover shipping fees and deduct "loss of earnings" for the mining period from the money you refund.

Ebay have made a judgment, i explained the machine was loud and noisy (which is also relative).

First contact about reaon for return -

'The buyer (hfx_parts) created a return
Reason for returnDoesn't match description or photos
Comments -Very loud and noisy machine
Address  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'

Not sure if listing was private ? But this was the item description -

'RELIABLE BITCOIN MINER (PLUS OTHER SHA-256 COINS !!!)

!!ONE OF, IF NOT THE MOST EFFICIENT MINERS OUT THERE !!

I CAN PROVIDE SUPPORT AND SET THE MINER CONFIGURATION FOR YOU SO YOU CAN SIMPLY LOG IN ONCE POWERED UP

THANKS FOR LOOKING AND ANY QUESTIONS WELCOME

I CAN ALSO GIVE FULL SUPPORT IF YOU ARE NEW TO MINING...

'Dear xxxxx
We're writing to let you know that we've reviewed the details of this case and reached a final decision. We've asked the buyer to return the item to you for a full refund.
Details:
Decision:
This case has been decided in the buyer's favour.

Comments:
The buyer has been asked to return the item to you. Once tracking shows the item has been delivered back to you, the buyer will be issued with a refund. If the buyer uses an eBay postage label to return the item, you will be required to pay the postage and will see this charge on your invoice.

You can also view the details of this case in the Resolution Centre.'

Just write to them again with what markj113 mentioned. He's clearly ripping you off with reasons that he can't use for dispute. If he wants to return it he should be compensating you for shipping and loss of revenue due to his lack of research. He knew (or should have known) how loud the miner is.

All i can do at this point is - Report a problem with the buyer, I don't agree with the buyer's reasons OPTION.

What about this -

'Hi

I still dispute this decision !!

LINK TO BITMAIN - The unit is operating as designed then its the buyers fault for not doing his 'homework' or research before purchasing.

I should compensated for SHIPPING and LOSS OF REVENUE due to his lack of research. He knew (or should have known) how loud the miner is.

Regards

Mr xxxx'

Or is there some way i can fook him over in the returns process (put a damaged board in etc unless he already has !!!)

I'm not a happy chappy atm

sorry to hear this, unfortunately, I had a similar problem when I sold a old gridseed blade a long time ago, they returned it 89 days later and paypal awarded in favor of buyer as it was within 90 day chargeback period, I was fuming and sworn never to sell mining hardware there again, so I just keep within these walls now.

I hope you find some way to screw them over, I hate these abusers.
