I think you can still get loans from coinlenders, but I'm not sure about investing.  Everyone is getting the payouts at the moment, though.

Ok, they accepted 0.05 btc as a Loan Application Fee but rejected my loan without a good reason, even when I asked them for one...
I think it's a scam!

It would help if you provide information on who you are so and when this happened.

There was no reason, that's my problem with them, it seems they are only collecting the fee...

I generally give out reasons to people who give reasons for applying the loan. Asking for a 100 BTC loan for "Real estate development" without any additional details or collateral doesn't fly, especially when it appears you are borrowing BTC to buy real estate over the period of 2 years when exchange fluctuations will leave someone very screwed.

Hey, this is how banking institutions work when you are requesting loan. Do you call them scam as well  Huh

The fee is used to review your request and as a way so zillions of spam requests are not created

can I get a 5btc loan? I'm bidding on the avalon units at tradehill. I will pay back 6btc in less than one month and will verify whatever is needed.

Ok, it's a public discussion now, but it would have been nice if this reaction had come to me personal in the first place.
For your information now: the loan is/was not meant for buying but for developing. If it is your ambition to operate like a bank you should know the difference...
