Bitcoin continues to increase in value year after year but at what point does it stop being novelty and start being a serious long term investment option. I think within 10 years a $5 trillion market could support a Bitcoin with a value of $90,000. This would give bitcoin a marketcap equal to private gold bullion holdings which is currently $1.6 trillion. From there on bitcoins price would presumably skyrocket!

We cant assume on the details earlier as of now. Bitcoin is a good coin but we cant really predict its price movement due to price volatility. As for the gold its price will never goes down. And also many government is trying to drag down bitcoin. As of now comparing to bitcoin and gold i still choose gold.

As a future possibility I think it will come to be, but as of now with the btc volatility and gold stability, it seems impossible.
