Sorry for the bad topic but this may need someone's (mods) attention.

Listed in Pools (alt coins) section was an ad for xeminer.net.  I didn't realize it at first but when I went to the site to read about it, after a while my laptop fan kicked in.  Not know what was happening I closed my browser and restarted it.  I went back to the site and the fan start up again after a while.  I looked at task manager (top in MacOS) and it was showing about a 50-60% cpu usage when I was on the site.  I went to another site and it drops to 4-5%.  Went back to xeminer.net and it jumps up again.

With all that has been going on with hackers finding ways to use your computer to mine monero for them, this has come to mind.  Can someone verify this and maybe flag the site?  I am in no way affiliated with this site, just bringing awareness so that others know that their CPU usage will go up when on the site.  I don't know what kind of evaluation can be done with the owner of the site, but if they are using my laptop to mine monero when i visit their site, they should make that disclaimer on their post in Pools or not be allowed to post their info in that subforum.

If I'm wrong, I'm sorry but better to be safe than sorry.
