i think bitcoin will go higher as time goes by because big investors are already making their move to legalize it in every country, some countries would try to ban it and make the price of it lower for them to invest in that situation. but im positive that it will surely can go back higher than before.

Well... I don't know what do mean with it, but the bitcoin's volatility is good for trading activity and it will be followed by almost all of alternative coins. In my personal analysis technical actually bitcoin's volatility is up trend for long time although right now the bitcoin's price was decreased its values, so don't worry about the volatility in bitcoin.

The rise to almost $20K was brought with the news that financials institutions like CME and CBoE offering bitcoin future contracts. Sadly though, I think it can also be considered as a contributory to the downfall as what we have been witnessing today.

Bitcoin is volatile. The graphs can show its development throughout the years and there are so many up and downs of the coin. But its greatest point is just this December 2017 where it reached 18k. For me, it's volatility also helps as long as it is a positive effect on the investors and for everyone who is involved in cryptocurrency. For me, even though its value is around $8,000 it is still positive because the investors can buy more and its value last December proved that it has a future. And if you are going to compare its value to other years where bitcoin existed, $8,000 is not a bad value at all.
