I think that European Union is trying each step to stabilize itself especially after the Brexit incident and the fact that currently, Italy has elected its new Parliment, acceptance of cryptocurrency trading in Europe might just be nothing else but a trigger that may cause new deviations to occur, an instability they are not prepared for.

Europe is in indirect political competition with China on the basis of economies so the acceptance of trading and introducing a new form of finance to its population might be a good stepping stone for its economic development which may increase its chances of gaining superiority over China.

Now that Europe has banned crypto trading is it still possible to cash out legally? I don't want to go to prison.

What do you mean EU banned crypto trading? Grin

Got a source for that?

As you may observe in Europe on of its parts which did rely on kingship popularly known as Great Britain was ousted a correlation could be found in the fact that Britain was operating under a government in which there was the existence of a supreme power of authority and got ousted, cryptocurrency is everything but that.

There is a technological pressure upon the European Union to develop technologies and the mass acceptance of new technologies to maintain its position as one of the world's superpower as you may see in the industrials sector companies like Kodak failed when they did not adapt to technological change, a whole bunch of countries may not want that to happen.

I do not think something of such happened. Even if a country bans crypto or the exchange domicile to that country. That does not stop you as an individual from trading crypto on other exchanges or in what nature could the prison sentence be.

For Countries to come together and pass unanimous laws does not happen overnight, but looking at this thread i think there needs to be a law verifying threads and compulsorily backing them with facts, in order not to create unnecessary panic with misinformation. Dont worry about jail time, just set your mind free!

FSB are not regulating crypto as for them, the crypto currency net worth is to small for them to regulate. Crypto consists of only 1% of the global economic net worth. Thus i think we will not be seeing a bright future for crypto in EU.
