I have seen some scripts in PHP (but a long time ago) you should surely be able to find some on the web, even free ones.

Edit: by doing a search quickly I found a few to check...Not tried any etc, so I won't comment on any. Also pretty sure you can find a plugin on the WordPress depository if you're familiar with WP
