May be it will be useful for somebody to avoid cheaters

A few days ago i browsed twitch and saw a message in chat "My MEW private key is *there_was_private_key*". And of course i understood that it were just cheating but i was really intrested how does it works.

So i signed in MEW with that private key. There were not any Ethereum. I checked address via Ethplorer io and found that there were a lot of tokens, it were close to 3k$ in total (here is link to that address`s ethplorer https://ethplorer.io/address/0x97d312c5bd52f5bdcf4311ba36aac30784906294 as i see at moment i am writing this post it is equal to 2,5k$). But there were not any ethereum to try do something with it(there i say again that i already knew at that moment that it was cheater`s wallet and i did not tried to steal somebody`s money and did it only because of my curiosity).

So i sent a litle bit ethereum from my wallet to that wallet and then when it had come, it was instantly withdrawed to another wallet. Then i checked cheater`s wallet via Etherscan(https://etherscan.io/address/0x97d312c5bd52f5bdcf4311ba36aac30784906294 ) and saw that it has withdrawals only to a few wallets but has a lot of incoming transations. By the way most of the withdrawals are with erors(i guess it because bot just reject all withdrawing transfers except thats own ones).

So then i intrested why that guy who made this bot is so sure that his money cannot be stolen. Is there a somebody who can explain more detailed how such bots are working?

Anyway i hope this info was useful for somebody and they won`t be cheated by such bots like that.

I don`t know can i actually type here private key of this bot if it is okey i will post it ITT.

I remember about someone posted about a similar thing like you dude. But this guy was spreading his address to every place related to the crypto communities forum. the wallet contain a lot of token worth more than $80k but it can be stolen because hacker was adding the more code to make instant transaction if there is any ethereum deposited to the address.
Remember some icos can do auto distribution to the every address ethereum that has been sending ethereum to participate in the crowdsale and it looks similar.

Thank you for the information, it is indeed good to share with the other forum members. There are really new and innovative scams coming up everyday. The scammers even share private keys now.
