For a start there's no clear evidence that the bitcoinstarter project is legit, and I doubt it would be worth funding the Bitcoin one anyway unless you have like BTC30

We are thinking of doing away with the all -or -nothing for the particular project since KickStarter got funded so quickly. The project is legit you can reach out here to the project owner if need be:

Good to know that you have already verified the listing - perhaps a small symbol would be good to add to listings that you have verified ownership of?

The project definitely looks interesting as well, I look forward to seeing it when it launches, certainly something that holds great benefit

Welcome!  yes, not a bad idea but all projects are verified for ownership. I'm looking forward to see it out in the wild.

Yes, its fully funded on KickStarter they so happen to put the campaign on our site fairly late but still doesn't mean they shouldn't accept Bitcoin.

Turns out this particular funding will be treated as you just buying the NFC ring since the KickStarter campaign has been funded.

we are offering anyone with an active Github or Bitbucket profile that shows contributions to open-source projects some of our NFC inlays so you can simulate interacting with an NFC ring.  

We're primarily looking for people who have contributed to NFC & Bitcoin based projects, general Javascript and other ninjas are also welcome.

Inlay numbers are limited so get in touch as soon as you can, email support@nfcring.com with a link to your profile and we will add you to our review panel, we will send inlays out to those with contributions that are most relevant to the NFC Ring and also number of contributions to projects that we believe have had a positive social impact on humanity.

It's important to all backers that we give developers early access to contribute to the NFC ring software, without developer contributions the NFC Ring will only have the limited functionality it has right now, given developers contributions the NFC Ring can become anything you want it to be.  

We're mostly looking for help working on our Bitcoin payment app.  The app leverages multiple payment platforms as not to tie a user down to a specific vendor and is open-source.  Here is our video proposal for how a ring will be used to make payments to merchants.
