How much daily work is required for mining?

Hey guys. Im thinking of possibly opening a small farm for mining crypto currencies so im just collecting as much info as I can. One thing I cant seem to find out about is maintenance. How much work would I need to do every day if say I started out with a 40 unit (Antminers) farm? Would there need to be someone close by all the time? Or can I just come in the morning to turn them on, leave, and come back in the evening to turn them off? To be specific, I am thinking of renting small commercial space, most likely in some kind of small town within my near vicinity.

I admit I dont know too much about this whole mining thing yet, and would appreciate any help and/or suggestions.

Turn them on, but don't turn them off.  Should be very little maintenance involved unless they are overheating or have some other issue. Most pools typically have a setting to receive alerts if hash rate drops below a certain level. Only real reason to stay on site would be for security. Even if problems did arise, you could set them up for remote management and power cycling. 40 units will be very loud and produce considerable heat, so if you're not the only one in the space, you may have problems.

Good stable internet.

Proper wiring and psu’s.

Don’t overload the circuits

40. S9 pull 60kwatt which means you need 80kwAtt before you derate to 60.

Proper venting to cool off gear .

All of that and gear can work for weeks on end

Stable power and a cool room and you don't need to do much. Add minera or something to monitor the miners and reboot them if they act up. Only go and check on them if they are down and wont come back up which probably means a tripped breaker. I have idk 50 antminers and I rarely check on them.

Mine 5 ASICs have been singing along for weeks and I have done nothing. I use Awesomeminer to monitor mine, I imagine several months down the road I might blow some air through them, but as far as daily work? Nothing, they do better when left alone.

check for dust  every 60 days

If you find dust, make sure you clean it off with compressed air (a simple search on eBay or Amazon should give you results, should be in can form). Even a small amount of dust buildup can cause lots of issues in a mining rig, especially additional heat.

I've heard of people messing up their computers and miners with electric air blowers before, so I tend to just keep cans of compressed air, but there seem to be favorable reviews for some computer air blowers on sites like Amazon. I'm personally on the edge of getting one.
