BITCOIN bounce back to $20k in 2018?

Tell him that there will be a sure bounce back after this dip. Show him the charts last year and for sure it will delight him and will start to calm.

This is why I don't encourage my friends that they will earn surely with bitcoin unless they will know what they are investing. Words aren't enough that's why if someone asks me about bitcoin I'm telling them to do their own research.

If you are investing your money you have to be really careful ,the price was rallying for a long time and it nearly touched $20k and why would anyone risk and enter at those evaluations rather than waiting to see how the market reacts after touching $20k because it was a major obstacle resistance point or a psychological value and  by the kind of rally we had we need to take precaution . The only step you can do is to average the loss when the market goes down and wait for the long term,i would not suggest to invest further if you are on a budget,but if you are willing to risk then it is your call and that is the advice i can give to your friend.

2018 didnt start well for all financial markets included cryptocurrencies but i hope this year will be posiitve at least after June. Bitcoin has a bright future without any doubt but only time itself can change the direction of markets. Investors can wait for years to take profit from markets but small traders will burst their balance during this volatile peak an dips of market.

Yes i believe it will bounce back to 20k$ or more just like 2017. we just have to trust and continue supporting bitcoin.

Bitcoins are amazing as they are changing the lives of people. There will be a time when everywhere you will see everything would be dealing in bitcoins. That time is not much away rather coming closer with every passing year. And in 2018, definitely bitcoins will mark the level again as they did in December of last year. Prices will surely cross $20000 or we may be luckier to see $30000.

i think  bitcoin will bounce back but no guarantee it will again 18-20k.
the problem is why your friend is upset is your wrong in advice maybe you didn't mention what risk investing in bitcoin.

Looking at the present situation, it is very difficult to persuade myself that Bitcoin will grow much again, but I do hope for it. I suppose the time, when the market will start growing is already coming to us.

I hope that it will do so. But based on the current situation that Bitcoin is fscing in terms of the volatility in the market, it is hard to tell at this moment that it will. Bitcoin's market price is continuously fslling righ now. zbit since there are still many months remaining, there is still a chance for its price to recover snd reach the value of 20k this year. So just continue holding and investing to earn profit in the future or at the end of this year.

Do you know when the price is high and when the price is low? or better; Do you know when high is high and when low is low? Of course you and nobody knows that. So you and your friend should not be angry or fight.

you bought at $18,000, then buy at $8,000, buy at $9000, buy at $10,000 when price increases you will make a lot of profit. That is why: buy on the dip

Aw we know, bitcoin is crashing again today and even experts could hardly agree with it. If this will continue over the next few months, then it is just indicating that the cryptoworld is not healthy anymore and may fail to bounce back to 20,000$ again.

We are now in the present of thinking and doubting this bitcoin capacity in the coming days. What will be the next is the big question toward this bitcoin's happening. Now, more people relying on speculation to hold coins but the problem changes is always happening. So far we are now in approaching the mid months of 2018. Absolutely 20k is not so hard if the flow of the air change.

It should happen soon. Bitcoin was at $1000 in January 2017, but in December 2017 the price hit $21000. See the bitcoin price in January 2018, it was at around $9000. Can you see the difference in prices in January 2017 and 2018. We have jumped from $1000 to $8000. We have seen 2000 percentage hike in last year (from Jan to December). If we take the same ratio this year, Its at $168K. At least 300 percentage hike, the value in December 2018 would be at $24K. Too much right? Let’s see what happens.

It can if the market endures this clamping and FUD that has been holding the market within the $10k mark since January. I do believe the pricing will significantly increase within the Q3 and Q4. This dips can be considered a great to buy and you'll reap and easy profit ng 2-3 weeks time.

Just check at market graph, most of coins are fall, there is nothing good advise for now except to wait.
For how long? there is not exact answer. Ethereum, Coins that having supports smart contract project where many ico project now using it as mother coins, can't holding it self and fall dip too which now that going back to $400.
