the problem with coiledcoin is that the blockchain is already at 1,3 GB +.
This seems to be really sucky so my assumption is that coiledcoin is dead for good.

I downloaded the client but see 0 active connections...

Looked like this one had some promise until it was killed by a 51% attack

I was mining it this morning.  Apparently so are a few others as well.  The difficulty was at 98.  The highest difficulty I have seen in many months!

I think a week or so ago difficulty was much lower, I mined a lot of blocks in a short space of time Smiley

Yes, coiledcoin is awesome and definitely the future, the blockchain isn't even that big if you zip it.
