Why on earth, would a legendary or anyone do that (send merit)? Giving someone the idea of it, it's equal to indirectly begging/asking for it (it won't end well, earn it the right way):

While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
