I tried to send 10 BTC to an address and a message popped up confirming the payment had been sent.

But I went to history, and there is nothing there to show the transaction has occurred.

So I tried it again, and now just get this repeatedly:

error: {u'message': u'TX rejected', u'code': -22}

I tried the history() command from the console and it doesn't show the payment has being sent.

I've tried restarting Electrum (1.81), tried different servers, but nothing has helped.

I saw the error in the other thread about not being able to send freshly mined coins so thought that might be the issue. How old do coins get before they are not "freshly mined"? The last coin I received was 6 days ago.

Can there sometimes be a delay in send transactions appearing in "History"? I only did it about 20 minutes ago but normally with electrum if you send money successfully it will appear immediately in the history.

Many thanks.

The money has appeared in the destination account, so obviously the transaction did go through the first time, hence why subsequent sends failed because my balance wasn't sufficient. The bug must be in putting transactions into the history ....

thx again for letting me know, very worrying for a bit!

No problemo... I was in the area because I had a couple of transactions that just either got confirmed and never showed up in my client or were stuck.

Is this bug only for new version 1.8.1?

No idea...  did you see how I got my things to go through above?  Not sure if that did anything or I got lucky with a server.

There were four servers (electrum.be among them) when I got mine to go through, too.  Make sure to connect to that server, perhaps.
