What do they mean when they say "ASIC hosting?". I have a hard time asking the question because I do not understand it at all. Why does an ASIC miner need to be hosted? What is hosting?

Sorry, I'm just so new to this

easy answer you pay a % or a set amount each month for you ASIC hardware to be "hosted" in someone elses building normaly something like a DATA center where temprature are kept at a constant or countrys where electricity is dirt cheap. most hosting providers have back up power supplys so if theres a power failure then your miner keeps running. they have back up and fast internet connections to. they also maintain it and keep a close eye on it so should it crash they reboot it for you and your back mining without doing anything

also noise isnt at your house as your ASIC is somewhere far far away in a room with other noisy computers
