You generate a few bucks with your hardware and decide to use blockchain wallet. So far so good.

Then you read the bitcoin price may drop. And you read Ethereum is the new coin (Stupid hype influenced me)

Your search for a good second wallet. You choose the one wallet that seems to be nice (based on no research at all)

Freewallet.com turns out to be the biggest scam ever. I sent my hard mined coins to my Eth wallet, in the hope of gaining some Bitcoin when the price drop. Never thinking that I may actually lose all of it.

Then you ask them for help, You even include the transaction on your trusted Bitcoin wallet. Just to monitor the transaction that remains pending (unspent) for months on end. One fine morning suddenly the transaction is spent according to the transaction log. But your scammed by Freewallet.org wallet reflect nothing. Suspicion and anger overflow your mind. You want to find and shred the founder of this scam to pieces.

Here I am with probably a million others that DO NOT trust the current blockchain technology and players. It has just made it simpler for criminals to steal from people.

I am calling all others that were scammed by this Freewallet group to come forward. I want to get a group together so we may trace them and findthem.

As much as I understand losing money sucks in every scenario, there are countless people here who are actively bringing advice to not use online wallets and to, in general, not trust online wallet providers.

I found this while browsing around the internet. I know this might not pertain to you, but it's always good to research before any major choice you make. Keep this advice in mind as you go into the future.

It is hard to trace thus people, they are group of scammer, just beware next time if you create your wallet on not trusted site.
Blockchain.info is very trusted site that offer also free wallet.

Never heard of Freewallet.com but it looks like they are scams. Based on your feedback. But I don't think that you have to blame blockchain for your issue. IF you have done your due diligence and do your homework and search everything that you can find on the web about Freewallet.com, then you wouldn't be bitching around and crying like you are the only victims here. We have been victimized by scammers along our journey but we put it aside, let that be a lessons learned and moved forward.

Sad to hear that you've lost your trust because of what happened but hope it serves as a lesson not only to you but for the others as well. Hope those who plans to enter the crypto world do their own research first before using a certain service as we are living in computer age and we are very prone to scam and identity theft. I am not sure if you can still do something about your lost crypto since based on what others experienced in things like this the possibility to get their money back is zero.

Always go with the most popular, free, wallet that no one says is a scam.

For ethereum it's MEW. You can also instal metamask on chrome and get a wallet there. Metamask is a popular wallet that no one says is a scam.

freewallet is pretty much the last custodial wallet out there. i'm amazed anyone still uses it but like you said you didn't do your homework.

i've read a few experiences with it on alt forums. from what i can tell from the experiences of others they're not outright scammers, but they are slow assholes. you're at the mercy of their support. i reckon you're in with a good chance of getting your issue resolved eventually just like all the crappy exchanges out there but you might be in for a wait.

once it is resolved you know what to do next - leave and don't look back.

Ouch, i am sorry to hear that you have been scammed. For the question i have never been a victim of any scam, i am always suspicious when it comes to money or crypto because i know that there are scumbags out there. In crypto wallets i always do an intensive research before moving my coins. Always be vigilant because this scammers are always creating new ways to scam people.
