Replies counts are wrong in Indian Section

Don't know about the other sections as I haven't noticed them but the number of replies are being wrongly showed in Indian section since last several days. I am not very sure about the views count but guess views are also off for few threads.

I am attaching the screenshot here, marked the wrong reply counts with the red circles:



Some are off by 1, some are off by 2 and some even by 5 replies.

The number of posts you will be made will not count directly as activity for it needed some time before it will be counted.

I think same scenario will going to apply im this case if the gap time of both replies are too short then those posts will not be counted directly as number of replies for again I think it needed few minutes to load up and to be counted. This is my theory but I am not sure about this.

Anyway, do you worry about it? You should not for it is not that alarming but you have a good senses able to observe t though. I check bitcoin discussion section and it goes the same thing.

I just checked Croatian local board, and at least one thread's reply count is off (by 1 ). At first I thought that only threads with deleted posts might be affected, but then I found few threads that have correct reply count while also having bunch of posts deleted, so I guess that cant be the reason for discrepancy.

Will you start reading the posts properly before shitposting in order to fill the signature quota? You keep doing the same thing, littering the forum. I honestly can't believe that you are paid 40 USD per week to write that kind of garbage.

I saw the same thing happening in local Turkey.
It should appear * 1.



I was wondering to myself, is it possible that in the appearance of each reply in the local section it is calculated automatically or manually by a certain local mod.

It’s probably due to this:

I did a recount of post counts earlier today. There are several bugs which cause the post count to drift from its real value over time. The current count is the accurate one.

It seems that some sort of reindex/recount procedure needs to be performed every now and then to get the post count back on its track.
