Hi everyone,

I have 6GPUs from RED DEVIL RX 570 4GB (Samsung) the problem I face is that the hashrate per card will start about 28Mh/s and subsequeny drop to 15Mh/s to 20Mh/s.

I have overclocked using MSI AF to 1467/2250 but it is still the same.

I have yet modified my bios as I can’t seem to find mods for Samsung.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance

ori0n.

That is way too much overclock and you will ruin your cards that way. My RX 470/570s run 28MH well at 1050/2010. Been mining ETH stable since last year.

Also just mod your BIOS first. There are a lot of guides available online and you don't need to download one from other people. Google is your friend.

Yep, with a proper Bios mod, for Samsung I would target somewhere between 1100-1200 MHz core clock and 1950-2150 MHz memory clock, depending on the card. Use HWInfo to check for memory errors and adjust the memory clock down by 50 MHz until there are no more errors. A good site to get the basics on overclocking and Bios modding is www.mining.help.

I've had good results using the Polaris Bios Editor 'One Click Timing Patch' on the original Bios after saving a backup and replacing the changes made with the bundled UberMix v3.1 Samsung timing with this one that is much more stable.

Hi

I have followed both instructions and saw that I can get 28Mh/s! Totally appreciate  your help!!

However I notice something which may need advice if it is common.

My GPU 2,3 and 4 runs higher hashrate about 28+Mh/s quite regulaly. GPU 0,1 and 5 often ges to 25-26Mh/s. Is this normal?

Also I notice that sometimes when a new "job" comes in, the speed varies greatly.

Sorry I am quite new to this. Thanks in advance!!

all of them red devil?
maybe the slower gpus have hynix memory, if its hynix then you need to clock the memory higher to get good hashrate.

Not all GPUs overclock the same way. You may need to expirment a little more with those GPUs, sometimes decreasing or increase both core or memory clock. Its all about trial and error until you find the sweet spot of your GPU.

My mining colleagues had this problem , not stable hashrate with the Rx 570 4gb cards. They solved it by lowering the memory clock and leaving unchanged the core clock. We have the mining rigs in our company and I checked their data is the core clock of 1284 and memory 2020

They told me you cannot go from 1750 to 2250 max to 2100 but even that by testing different numbers.
