Huh? Why is this still a scam? They had their testnet already launched, accusation of Justin Sun dumping his coins have been disproved.
Volunteers translated first version of white papers had left out providing references that the Chinese version did (where they have used materials from other projects, which is perfectly okie to do so long as proper citation and references is provided), and that is understandable.

The worry and over-reaction before the testnet launch was also understandable, however now that they have shown an actual working product (launched well ahead of schedule in their roadmap), and the team is still around after all this time, the concerns that it is all a scam isn't justified anymore.

Its not in the top 10, but top 20 actually atm.

That can be said of many projects actually where people buy at a given price even though the project hasn't even been completed (e.g. EOS too; at least Cardano already has a mainnet and its provable secure PoS system up + going around Africa and developing countries to push for adoption there, and have its first ICO, Traxia up; but still, their dApp capability and other features will take time to finish).
However within the crypto-sphere, people buy base on the long-term potential of a given project.

Tron for one have already acquired loads of partnerships with big players in China, and the use-case is significant and sets it apart from many other coins out there that functions no more than just yet another alternative cryptocurrency to BTC and nothing more.

I see the potential for TRON to rise to the #10 position just below NEO (from its current pos. @ #14), once mainnet is launched.

coinburn's good at manipulating the price but slowly it will kill the project because of this unnecessary action.
plus,there are a lot of projects out there with an existing product other than this TRX.

Atm, the current coinburn is simply to attract adoption. However once their mainnet is launched, they are gonna do it similarly to how Ripple does it to reduce the amount of coins in circulation (which is about twice as many as Ripple's atm). The amount burnt is negligible vs the total coins in circulation once the mainnet is out.

TRON project has a lot of potential. I think the price dropped because people are afraid because of the first pump and dump at the launch of the coin. It was too overhyped. People are afraid of a big selling wall. That's why the price did drop i think. They have learn a lesson.
It is a long term project. We may not see a big jump of the price now as Bitcoin price is decreasing little by little.

People tend to buy the rumor and sell the news..

Speculators (who have no care about the tech, but only to pump/dump, moving on from coin to coin) have been pumping the price up leading up to the testnet launch, and was waiting to sell at the very day of the launch. This is usual for any coin.

After the dump, usually that is where real investors who believe in the project will come in strongly once the dust have settled from the dump -- which is the good time to buy more at or close to the pre-pumped price.

The main event will be the mainnet launch coming up. Then TRX will see real growth (although a pre-launch pump followed by a post-launch dump by speculators is expected too), hence it will be best for investors to get in now that the price have dipped.

I don't buy into a coin base on its short-term price actions, but base on its fundamentals. And TRON is one of those coins that has it going for them.
This includes NEO and other coins that are a part of its ecosystem too.

Rumors of Alibaba's partnership isn't spread by the TRON team.
Similarly, many people had been spreading false rumour about how XRP will be listed on coinbase, but that doesn't mean this lousy centralized coin is a scam.

TRON now has a working product. Their testnet is already launched, and their mainnet will be released for public use soon.

This is just DGB landfill. I think TRX should not be considered a potential coin because when looking at trading history we can see TRX is definitely pumped and this should not happen against coin. Personally, I think I should stay away as quickly as possible because I do not have confidence in the TRX and their development team
