there have been rumors, but unfounded, a fpgi isnt even out yet

We are at least $5 per LTC & a year away from any possibility of a viable Scrypt ASIC.

What I mean by that is that the price of LTC would need to be at the very least $5, and the cost to build a Scrypt ASIC in a manner in which ROI would be achievable for both the developer and the miner is at least a year away.

FPGA's for Scrypt are around, they just don't do anything more per price paid than a GPU does, in fact even factoring in energy savings, unless you pay over .25 kw/h, the FPGAs aren't going to do a thing.
