I am wondering if I was to buy an ASIC machine today what is the very best case on the market? I recently was refunded for three singles from BFL and now I have the itch to buy another ASIC, I am just wondering if it makes sense or if I should just wait until the next generation ASICs come out? It is definitely a scary thing either way because I could be thrown away two or $3000. I am also open for suggestions if the machines are even a little bit more money. Thank you for your input.

Maybe a KNC Saturn if you can get it within 14 days for $3000 or less...

http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php?diff=390928787.63809&dcosts=2995&diff_mincrease=30&blpbtc=25&dhsmhs=270000&diff_mincreasedecrease=0.1&btcusd=238&dpowcon=380&btcusd_mincrease=3&pcost=0.15&calcweeks=40&dleadtime=1&action=calc#

It assumes things like a 3% jumpBTC value per difficulty increase and a one jump delay in getting the KNC Saturn box etc.

You can make any other adjustments you like -- but would you ever net more than $500? Not likely -- but perhaps.

This might be a more accurate view -- since it will jump today and I plugged in the "next" dicciculty as todays' starting value:

http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php?diff=510716514.17972924&dcosts=2995&diff_mincrease=30&blpbtc=25&dhsmhs=280000&diff_mincreasedecrease=0.1&btcusd=238&dpowcon=380&btcusd_mincrease=3&pcost=0.15&calcweeks=40&dleadtime=1&action=calc#

Assuming that BTC climbs at least 5.5% per Difficulty jump (on average) then you can get a positive ROI.

hth (hope that helps)

Give me this day my daily Bitcoin...
