Seeing whats going on with Facebook and all the privacy issues, I was thinking doesnt this give cryptocurrencies a life line and a reason for people to use these digital currencies which also have third party supporting services like mixers to remain anonymous and I believe after this people will be more aware with their privacy options?
I think that slowly people are feed up with facebook and google and will slowly search and switch to alternatives. As it goes for cryptocurrencies, private coins by default should be number 1 priority or use of privacy features such as coinJoin etc. With mixers you still have to trust some entity for your coins, if privacy is not by default many people won't care of will think they are safe because of their lack of knowledge.
Like we didn't know facebook does this, they even do all kinds of other stuff behind the scenes like profiling you what you like, what type of person you are and all other things that should be private with national agencies such as NSA having full ace's to anyone's data. It should be concerning.
