All-Around miner?

So, I wanna get a miner that could mine any currency I'd want to, ignoring prices, market jumps, news, and all that boring stuff, I just want a good buddy miner to satisfy my (apparent) need for mining so that I could mine "some of this" today and "some of that" tomorrow again without thinking "Oh f*** this currency is going down" just for fun nothing too serious, nothing too light tough like a hobby you, but I like to keep a certain level of seriousness in my hobbies.
 
That tech would be the most compatible? gpu?

best to go for atleast a 6 gpu 290x miner rig, then you are sure you can mine some of this and some of that.
